Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. A properly trimmed wick encourages a clean, steady flame and helps reduce excess soot and flickering.

On the first burn, allow the wax to melt evenly toward the edges of the vessel to help prevent tunneling and encourage an even burn.

Before lighting, make sure the wax is free of wick trimmings, matches, dust, or other debris.

Always keep a burning candle within sight and never leave it unattended.

Place your candle on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, vents, fans, open windows, and anything flammable.

Keep burning candles out of reach of children and pets. When burning more than one candle, keep adequate space between each vessel.

Do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Never touch or move the vessel while the wax is melted or the candle is hot.

Use a candle snuffer or gently blow out the flame. Never use water or the candle lid to extinguish your candle.

If the candle begins smoking, flickering excessively, or develops an unusually high flame, extinguish it and allow it to cool completely. Trim the wick and check for drafts before relighting.

Always make sure the flame and wick are fully extinguished before leaving the room.

Discontinue use when approximately ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel. Burning a candle beyond this point may cause the vessel to overheat.

Never use a knife or sharp object to remove wax from the vessel, as this may scratch, weaken, or damage the glass.

Candles should not be used as emergency lighting during a power outage. Always follow the safety instructions provided with your Serenique Scents candle.
